Glycerin soap is a superior form of natural soap. The benefits of glycerin soap are many. It is a colorless, odorless viscous organic compound – a natural fat byproduct of  soap making. The benefits of glycerin in glycerin soaps are as follows.

Glycerin is known for its property to keep moisturizing the skin. It is a natural emollient that draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health while maintaining the natural pH of your skin.

 

Glycerin soaps that are found in stores are usually translucent. Adding butters, oils,spices, flowers, sugars and other ingredients change the color naturally.Glycerin soaps have a softening effect on the skin because it is a humectant.  Humectant actually draws moisture to yourskin keeping it hydrated and locking in moisture. (Honey is also a humectant.)

 

Glycerin soap is deep cleaning yet very mild and gentle on the skin especially if you have any skin sensitivities or skin diseases such as eczema or psoriasis.  It is this deep cleaning and mildness thatmakes it great for people who have acne prone skin. Glycerin soap also dissolves in water which means it rinses clean not leaving behind a drying film like other soaps. Glycerin soaps are considered hypoallergenic .Being hypoallergenic means that they safer for use, causing less allergicreactions than other product.  Please keep in mind that once you add fragrances, color and other add-ins the soap  may no longer be hypoallergenic.
